Whether it be large or small, there are many different ways you and your family can help Mother Earth and Go Green. Here are some fun and unique ways you can help.
*Save electricity by stopping the dishwasher before the dryer cycle begins. Open the door a bit and let the dishes air dry.
*Have a shower competition. See who can shower the fastest, why? Shaving two minutes off can save up to az-900 dumps 150 gallons a month.
*Have a gadget free night. Once a week, turn off all electronics. It won’t save a ton of power, but every little bit helps. Use this time to recharge yourself and spend time catching up with your family with a nice dinner or game night.
*Keep one less thing out of the landfill by making your own DIY dryer sheets. Soak a bright washcloth (easy to spot) in a fabric softener for 5-10 minutes. Wring and toss it with your wet clothes in the dryer and voila! You can use the same cloth up to 20 times before resoaking.
While some over the counter cleaners may smell great, the chemicals may not be so family or pet friendly. Here are some helpful alternatives that you can use around your home that everyone can benefit from.
Spray: Combine a few drops of az-302 dumps vanilla, almond or other extract with a cup of water, and spritz the mix in the air with a spray bottle.
Simmer: Put white vinegar in a small saucepan and simmer on the stove for 30-45 minutes. This is a good option for particularly strong smells. Or simmer citrus zest with a teaspoon of cinnamon in water for a pleasant aroma.
Sprinkle: To trash those nasty smells emanating from the garbage can, place some baking soda below the can.
Squeeze: Before you vacuum, squeeze a few drops of fresh lemon or lime into your vacuum bag or canister. This will freshen the bag and the carpet.
